What time do courses usually start?

That’s a great question. All courses normally start at 9:00 am, CST (Central Standard Time).

6:00 am PST (Pacific Standard Time)

If you are in another time zone, please be mindful of adjusting this to your region. Being late to class is not encouraged and would result in the instructor and client having to stay beyond the end time or a re-schedule.

What is included in the price of the course?

You will receive 12 hours of Prime for Life instruction, a certificate of completion, which will be emailed to you immediately after class, in addition to a Prime for Life workbook in either digital or paperback form, depending on the way the course is delivered.

How long do you retain certificates?

Most DUI schools do not retain client’s certificates for as long as they should, and we have heard of clients trying to retrieve them and being unable, which in turn makes it so they must retake the course and pay for another class.

At Atlas DUI School, we retain your certificates for 10 years, making it easy and simple for you to obtain another copy of your certificate when needed. A lot of other DUI schools actually charge their clients for a replacement certificate, that is not the way we do things here.

If you choose Atlas, and you need a copy, send us an email and we will get another copy sent to you, free and as soon as possible. That easy.

Is the Instructor certified to teach Drinking and Driving (DUI/OWI) courses?

Yes. Instructors from Atlas DUI School are certified by Prevention Research Institute, the creators of Prime for Life to provide the Prime for Life drinking and driving/DUI/OWI courses to you. All instructors come from a professional background, have instructional experience, and will work hard to create a non-judgmental environment to work through the course.

Is this course accepted for the State of Tennessee?

Yes. The 12-hour Prime for life course that we instruct is accepted for the State of Tennessee. In addition, I own and operate a state licensed DUI school (License # L000000035484) out of the State of Tennessee, through the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. We are in good standing with the state and the certificate is accepted state-wide, but we are in Nashville. At the conclusion of the course, you will receive your certificate via email.

What is the process once I enroll?

Once you select the day you want to attend class, you will enroll online, entering your information and then submitting payment online. Once you enroll and pay, you will receive an email confirmation that you have enrolled. Then, the day prior to class you will receive a detailed email with log in information and a link to your digital workbook. If for some reason you do not receive this the day before the class, please contact us at and we will make sure to send you the information. You can also always call us at 615-338-9400 if you need additional assistance with enrolling.

Process for a one-on-one class?

We do offer one-on-one training. This training would be conducted outside of a regularly scheduled class. Please call us at 615-338-9400 to discuss rates and availability.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds once a class is booked. This is due to a multitude of issues, including the scheduling of an instructor, purchase of instructional material, and the fact that a seat once taken is no longer available to other students.
